Motorhomes LMC
In 1955, a manufacturer from Sassenberg (Germany) developed the legendary "knospe" (cocoon in Spanish). A caravan that would revolutionize the small sector of camping vehicles due to its form and functionality. 11 years later, Wilhelm Saure buys "Austermann KG" and founds the company "Wilhelm Saure KG". The rapid increase in production forces you to look for a partner. In 1974, Karmann Mobil was handling a significant part of the production. In 1981, coinciding with the expansion of the factory in Sassenberg, new shareholders joined the group creating the "LMC Lord Münsterland Caravan GmbH". The brand experienced significant growth until 1991 when it became part of the "Erwin Hymer" group. In 1993, LMC manufactured some models of T.E.C. until finally, in 1995, it absorbed the entire production of that brand. In 2015 they celebrated their 60th anniversary.
