Company that was born in 1956 in Forrest City (Iowa - United States) as a manufacturer of caravans, although the Winnebago brand was created in 1960. They are the creators of a material called Thermo-Panel with a very reduced weight but at its time with great resistance and robustness. Thanks to an innovative assembly line and the implementation of the industrial advances of the moment, Winnebago presented its first motorhome in 1966 at a price significantly lower than the competition. In 1970 it was listed on the stock market and only 7 years later they had already manufactured the 100,000 unit. In the year of their 50th anniversary, they celebrated the 400,000 units produced. In 2010, they bought the Sunnybrook company, giving importance to the caravan division again.
